kmd foto, is tim and kristen douglass and
the way we shoot photography is the outward expression on how we view life. fun, relational, and relaxed.
we have been shooting since before digital photography was ever an option. we began when we were children and could be trusted with our parents cameras. kristen with her father’s Pentax M.E. super film camera and tim with a point and shoot polaroid. (i waved those pictures with vigor). we both looked for and found instruction in this art. kristen took formal classes at TCC and SHSU and tim joined an independent film development club before traveling the world with his camera. after a very short engagement, we married and now reside in the great city of bryan, texas.
we now live, shoot, and laugh together with our pup, shipley, who feels entirely too comfortable chewing on the couch. we work within a community of artists (writers, musicians, sculptors) who are constantly encouraging us to “never be content with what you did yesterday”.
